6-9pm
Music is My Medicine is about You, the beat of your own drum, the sound of your footsteps walking your distinct path.
Facilitated by the renowned Tara MacKenzie, this is a workshop for fearlessness and fun. Tara will be guiding a vocal and drone instrument meditative performance and a talk on the benefit of having a regular music practice. She will share inspirational stories from her 22 years of coaching musicians, whose lives were changed by their fearless steps made on the music path.
I feel that in our In our culture, many live in fear of judgement and have virtually had their inspiration to make music stamped out by misguided criticism. I want to inspire people with my discussion and music…to perhaps revisit or deepen the idea of starting a new romance with the music path, for the good of their mind, spirit and body.
