Knees-WorkshopMillions of North Americans have issues with their knees. Conditions such as osteoarthritis and other degenerative knee conditions lead to a decrease in mobility and an increase in pain. Coupled with this, and common in our modern lifestyles, tight leg muscles and hips can result in premature cartilage deterioration.

In this workshop, you will learn how to foster awareness in your feet, starting with the foundation of the leg, to work towards a healthier knee joint. Also, you will learn how to build strength by balancing the muscles of the legs towards functional alignment and even engagement of the leg muscles. Yoga has proven itself to be an antidote for knee trouble. Learn how to use props effectively to continue to practice deep knee bends without causing pain or discomfort in the joint and to promote the flow of synovial fluid in the knees to keep your knees well lubricated and agile.

In This Workshop You Will Learn:

-Proven techniques for hydration of the knee joint
-How to engage leg muscles for optimal knee support
-Safe and effective movements to aid in preventing at risk knees from injury
