Whether you are a mild-mannered librarian or a rough and ready first responder, you face some degree of stress in your life, and how you manage it and care for yourself is crucial to how it will affect you in the moment, and over time.
This workshop will provide an overview of what stress is and how it affects the body, mind and spirit. Participants will be given new tools for stress management and reduction in a comfortable group environment.
In this workshop you will learn:
-Breathing techniques to quiet the nervous system
-Meditations for clarity and peace
-Movements that aid in alleviating stress
-A basic overview of what is stress and how does it affect us
With over 20 years of experience in massage, Stephanie has the knowledge and experience that enables her to have attention to detail in regards to anatomy and tension relief in the body. She is passionate about the benefits of yoga that reach all aspects of life – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. She is a regular teaching and workshop facilitator at Tone Studio.
